Claw clipping, full dry grooms, sanitary trims, lion cuts and teddy cuts, see below for more info.
Claw clipping
Claw clipping is an essential part of any maintenance for house cats especially. It helps promote pain-free walking, prevents claws from becoming ingrown, and prevents getting any potential infections due to claws being too long. It also saves your furniture too.
Price – £20
Sanitary Trims
This involves the trimming of fur around the back end to encourage a healthy, hygienic bottom area.
Price – £30
Introductory Kitten / Cat Groom
This is a 30-minute appointment designed specifically for kittens up to the age of 12 months to get them used to the grooming process. It includes a brush through, claws clipped eyes and ears cleaned and a sanitary trim if required to get them used to the sound of the clippers.
It is also suitable for adult cats that are new to grooming as an initial meet as a means to build up to a full groom.

Lion Cut
A lion cut includes the removal of fur close to the skin leaving the mane, tail and legs plus claw clipping and eyes and ear cleaning.
Lion cuts can be essential for cats who have widespread matting or pelting over multiple areas of their body. It may also be suitable for indoor cats who have dense thick fur that mats easily.
(Time – Can take between 1 to 2 hours)
Prices from £100 – £150 (prices vary depending on size of cat and severity of matting)
Tummy Trim
The tummy trim is suitable for medium/long haired cats that have difficulty grooming this area and keeping it mat free in the tummy, armpit and groin areas. The fur is shaved down at a length of your choosing using clippers. The tummy trim is not visible from the side of your cat, so you will not notice this whilst your cat is walking or lounging around. This can also be helpful for cats during the summer months who appear to struggle with the heat as they can use the shaved down area to lay on cold surfaces to provide some relief.
Price £30 – £60 (depending if matting is present and the severity)
Full Dry Groom
This is a longer session of up to 1 hour and includes a basic health check, claw clip, de-shed to remove dead undercoat which prevents matting and fur balls and promotes good circulation, a sanitary trim, bib trim and trouser trim – if required, plus eye and ear cleaning. Belly clip-on request will incur an additional fee.
Price from £55 small, short and medium haired cats (domestic short haired, British/American short haired, Scottish fold, exotic short haired, bombay etc)
Price from £65 long haired (large, domestic long haired, British long haired, ragdoll cross, persian, Norwegian forest cat, Siberian, Himalayan, Turkish angora)
Price from £70 large, maine coon
Teddy Cut (Comb Cut)
A teddy cut involves the shortening of the fur all over leaving the mane, tail and legs plus claw clipping and eyes and ear cleaning.
Note – this is not suitable for cats with matted/pelted fur.
Add in – This is suitable for cats with longer hair that have difficulty grooming themselves who are indoor/outdoor cats so need their fur for protection. The fur must be in good condition. This helps your cat by keeping the more challenging parts of the coat at a shorter, more manageable length. This service also includes a claw clip, full brush out finishing with cleaning the eyes and ears.
(Time – Can take up to 1.5 hours)

Wet Groom
Full Wet Bath (water required)
A full wet bath is the same as a full dry groom but with the addition of 2 shampoos using cat friendly products only, a full dry out and styled to finish.
£80 All cats ( allow 2 hours)
Additional Fees & Handling
Regular maintenance groom programme – if booked in every 8-12 weeks at 10 % off
An additional charge up to £40 may be applied for aggressive cats, or cats with extremely matted or pelted coats.
For Travel Costs – Mileage will be charged on top of the grooming price at 45p per mile return journey from my postcode DL5 6GL.
